Robotic-APR™ Gantry Picking
SI Systems’ Robotic-APR is an automatic piece picking machine designed to process a large number of medium to low volume items for high volume less than case order fulfillment.
Picking:
Stacks of product are arranged in a dense grid from which a Robotic arm directed by our SINTHESIS™ control system is positioned above and lowered to automatically pick product from the top of stacks and then transport them to the associated order cartons or totes as they travel through the system.
Replenishment:
Automatic Replenishment occurs as directed by our SINTHESIS™ control system. Once operators load stacks of product as directed into replenishment pick up stations, the Robotic arm is directed to retrieve the stack, transport it to the associated location within the picking grid where it loads the stack into the pick location.
Technical Specifications:
- Product Size: custom grids to accommodate product sizes
- Pick Rate: Up to 4,200 Order cartons or totes per Hour
- Robotic Arm Pick Rate: Up to 10 – 12 items per minute per Robotic Arm
- Number of Unique items: Unlimited (Multiple Robotic Arms based on Number of Items)
Controls:
The Robotic- APR Control System (APRS) is a stand alone, state of the art, off the shelf PC based system powered by one of our SINTHESIS™ software modules. The APRS interfaces with our SINTHESIS™ Information Management Software designed to interface with a wide range of Host systems to receive orders and unload post picked information.
