The SINTHESIS™ Order Completion Modules directs each phase of order quality assurance, order packing, and order manifesting to guarantee the highest possible order accuracy and compliance to meet all customer requirements. In the event of customer-returned orders, returns processing is quick to ensure returns are restocked without delay and customer credit is expedited. Integrated with a full line of extendible modules, SINTHESIS creates dynamic order fulfillment processes, from order receipt through order shipment, for distribution centers that provide full-case and split-case, item oriented fulfillment. Each of these modules can be further customized to deliver even greater productivity in your particular order fulfillment application.

Software Modules

Quality Assurance Director

Manages auditing, correcting, and coordinating quality assurance processes for all order shipments. Captures order deviance statistics and archives quality performance data.

Main Features:

• Identifies shortages
• Indicates location of SKUs for shortages rectification
• Verifies order content and customer
• Summarizes repeat quality assurance issues that require process modification or maintenance analysis.

Pack Station Director

Coordinates the activities associated with packing orders into totes, cartons, or mailers. Selects and prints packing lists, shipping labels, and collateral literature for each order.

• Cubes order items and selects the correct carton size
• Automatically prints packing lists per customer specifications
• Displays special packing instructions based on order requirements
• Issues advanced shipping notices as required by customers
• Collects and archives statistics for completed orders

Shipping and Manifesting Director

Selects the lowest-cost shipping method consistent with order weight and other physical parameters, carrier guidelines, tariffs, delivery deadlines, and customer preferences. Creates manifests per shipper requirements.

• Scans bar coded items and order identifiers
• Matches returns to customer orders
• Rejects products not traceable to valid orders
• Alerts host computer of acceptable returned items
• Determines proper sort and stock destinations for each item
• Prioritizes restocking of products with current “back order” or low inventory level status
• Captures returns processing performance and throughput statistics
